Latest News:

  - December 3, 2010: Official HD video for 'So to Speak' is here

This one came out of nowhere, it was a pretty spontaneous project which I took on myself in order to keep up with the dope feedback I had been receiving for the 'So to Speak' track. The intro features a brief sneak peek at the 'My Regrets' track footage. Enjoy that shit.

  - November 20, 2010: Last Standing Poet featured in Go! Magazine's November Issue

I was interviewed for a feature in the pilot issue of a Jordanian magazine by the name of Go!.  The questions were relevant to the region and to the point, I think it turned out quiet well, the magazine did a great job. Press the image above for the full-size interview.

 - October 21, 2010: Last Standing Poet performs alongside Jason Manns and Emad Alaeddin in Frankfurt, Germany

Sadly, due to some administrative bullshit, I couldn't make it to my gigs in China. At least I had somewhat of an opportunity to catch up a bit by heading up to Frankfurt to join Jason and Emad for a show. Several videos of the performance will be uploaded to my Youtube channel within in the coming week.

 - July 16, 2010: 2 New LSP Produced Tracks: In My Lifetime & Out of My Window (Both featuring GregB and Vaughn)

Just a quick update and sample of what's being worked on at the minute. Both of these joints are produced by me and feature verses by all of us.
Listen to the tracks HERE ('Individual Tracks 'section)

 - May 23, 2010: 3 New LSP tracks: My Regrets, Her Revolution & If You Only Had My Eyes (All Produced by LSP)

I've been back in London for a couple of weeks now, I fuck with travelling but its dope to be in my studio again. I've been producing a lot of new material and these tracks are the latest of that. Keep your eye out for the up-coming 'I'm a Champion' video.
Listen to the tracks HERE ('Individual Tracks 'section)

 - May 7, 2010: VIDEO: LSP's verse on State of Mind I'm In (Original Produced by J.Dilla)

Firstly, I have to shout out everybody who took care of me and made my trip to the States a fucking dope one, all is much appreciated and won't be forgotten. Since I ended up returning to L.A. for a second time 'The General' and I had another chance to get some footage for the 'I'm a Champion' video and throw together this fly-ass clip.

 - April 12, 2010: LSP shooting 2nd No Class, Just Style LP video in L.A.

My USA trip has been pretty crazy...I'm currently in L.A. where I met up with some old (and new peoples) and am in the middle of planning/shooting the new video. The track chosen for the video was on the of the favourites off the LP and will be revealed shortly.

 - February 21, 2010: No Class, Just Style LP ALBUM Download

It has been a year in the making. Anybody who has ever enjoyed my music, has to make sure to download this album. It is a compilation of my most recent and dopest shit. It is a 24-track LP that includes a wide range of genres and influences. The entire project was produced by myself (LSP, bitches), enjoy it and feel free to spread and share this.

 - February 8, 2010: Online Press Kit

The online version of LSP's press kit is complete. It is available to view and to download. The link has been added to the 'Quick Links' section to the right of this text.

 - February 7, 2010: 2 New Collab Tracks: Intro and Fishtail (Produced by LSP) ft. GregB

I produced both of these joints a couple of months ago. GregB and I just spat shit off the top to most of these until we decided to throw together some proper shit. The beats were getting a dope reception (even DJ Semtex fucked with them, no lie, met him at the Street Dance 3d shoot) so I figured we should drop them. GregB kills the chorus on 'Fishtail' and does well to open up on the intro. The vocals on these joints sound a lot more raw than usual but I wanted to give these joints a street/mixtape feel. Listen to both of those tracks 'Here'

Note: Added 'Quick Links' on the right-hand side of this page for easier access to my music.

 - February 6, 2010: 1 New Collab Track: Make this Cheese (Produced by LSP) ft. Snooza Black

It's not very often that I collaborate with UK cats. The beat is crazy and the track is sick, I think both me and Snooze came pretty correct on this. Listen to it 'Here'

 - January 29, 2010: Cinematic Experience: The Chase (Produced by LSP)

This one is crazy, on some serious movie shit! You must listen to this at least once. It all came together within a few hours, check it. REAL CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE, ha. Go to the 'Individual Tracks' section to peep it.

 - January 27, 2010: EVEN Newer Track: Road to Fame (Produced by LSP)

I felt like I had to start this year with something really dope, I wanted to make music, real music. The result of that need is 'Road to Fame', ha. But on the real, the track has an incredible amount of detail both in the method of production and content. The track turned out to be pretty feel-good as well, which is strange for me. Enjoy that shit and expect a video!

 - November 17, 2009: New Track: Turn The Lights Off (Produced by LSP)

I am finally starting to get my set-up back together, replacing parts where necessary and improvising where need be, ha. Enjoy the track, it is a lot slower paced than most of my music, different approach at the subject matter as well. The track will be displayed at the top of this page until the next track drops, either way, you can find it in the 'Individual Tracks' section.

 - November 2, 2009: VIDEO: Guerrilla Debut for H,S&B & Fire in the Sky

As all things Last Standing Poet and Poetic Front Face, this video was shot independently. No pro-crew, no bullshit companies and their diluted view of what hip-hop should look like.

The tracks in this video are "H,S&B" and "Fire in the Sky", both tracks are entirely; produced, performed and mixed by LSP at PFF's Studio.

The video was shot by Talal Asad and edited by LSP.

Update: We will be uploading a "Gallery Page" for new videos and pictures. In the meantime enjoy this YouTube upload.

 - October 14, 2009: New Tracks: All Day I Puff (Produced by LSP) & Talking Mad (Produced by LSP)

You MUST listen to these two....the feedback has been best-yet and they are both on some new fresh shit. 'All Day I Puff' is probably playing now, but they can both be heard in the individual track section!

 - October 13, 2009: Back

Damn... looking at that last post, I realize real quick that a lot of things have changed. After my Father's death in May, I decided to move back to London. Prior to that, I had moved my entire studio to Jordan and had a pretty dope set-up there, but living there just didn't feel right anymore (for that matter, I don't think it ever really did). Since all of my equipment was in Jordan, I grabbed the most important pieces and flew back to London (paying more overweight than imaginable).

When I touched down in London I got in touch my with my boy in the States and we decided for him to fly out here on a managing tip. In the meantime, I slowly re-built my mini set-up and started making music again. I produced a large number of beats and recorded 6 full tracks; 3 of them which you'll get to stream on here.

As of now, the web-site will return to regular updates and song uploads, so stay tuned.

Rest in Peace: Fayez Jaber

 - April 7, 2009: More Tracks: I Ain't Sick (Produced by LSP)

I'm about to move all of my shit to Jordan so I thought I would bang out some more tracks before my main set-up is split up. I produce this shit, its sick. Peep it in the 'Individual Track' section.

I just completed another track that will be appearing on 'The Flipside' mixtape. This is a more serious joint and can, as usual, be streamed in the 'Individual Tracks' section or can be downloaded directly here.

 - March 15, 2009: Another New Flipside Track: With A Little

I've been fucking with this beat for a minute now and finally did what had to be done. Its a pretty fresh joint, peep it in the 'Individual Tracks' section or download it directly, here.

 - March 14, 2009: PFF set-up shop in Jordan!

Since the Masters program I am currently enrolled in is mad flexible, over the next few months I will be setting up PFF's studio in Jordan. The studio/office there will provide me with a better link to my home and will give me the chance to work with local artists professionally. We will be setting up a private recording facility alongside PFF's first international offices.

 - March 7, 2009: Even Newest Track (had to do it):  9.a.m

These tracks just seem to keep happening. Once again, it is another joint off of 'The Flipside' mixtape. The mixtape will feature LSP's on several artists instrumentals. This is the first of a three part series that can be found on the mixtape. Go to the 'Individual Tracks' section to stream it or download it directly, here.

 - March 6, 2009: Even Newer Track:  See My ID

This his has been on my mind for a long as time. Check the 'Individual Track' section to stream there track or just download it directly here. It's nicknamed the 'fuck' anthem...ha, you will know why.

 - March 4, 2009: New Track:  Owe Me Nothing

Shit, I just finished this joint, woke up today morning and I had to kill it. Go to the 'Individual Tracks' section to stream it or just download it here.

 - March 3, 2009: Message Board and LSP Poll

The message boards (forum) is finally up and doing what it should. Press the 'Forum and Links' and hit the Forum. Also just a quick poll: LSP Beat Poll

 - March 2, 2009: The Fixtape now fully online and available for download!

Hit the 'Projects' link above, this link will lead you to a page where you can stream/play all 15 tracks online; there is also a link to a downloadable ZIP file of the entire album.

 - March 1, 2009: Launching of half-assed website

Since the launch of the official LSP website is still several months
(shit, maybe years, who knows) away, I decided it would be best to upload a very basic html website which will enable me to upload and stream individual tracks. I will try my best to keep the news up-to-date but I still cant seem to fuck with this whole online life shit.
